The Tibet Connection has created "Tibet in 49 Seconds"
an OPEN CALL for Tibet-inspired videos of 49 seconds in length (this is the length WITHOUT titles).
March
10th of this year marked the 49th anniversary of the Chinese communist occupation of Tibet. Also, in Tibetan Buddhism there
are 49 days in which the mind traverses a 'state between' (bar-do) death and rebirth.
Whether
it be a talking head, an artful edit, a flight of fancy or a heartfelt piece showing/describing your own personal connection
to Tibet, please post your video response...just make it about Tibet....in 49 seconds..and put "Tibet in 49 Seconds"
into your title or description.
Tibet Connection will be posting
new videos from now through March 10, 2009 - the 50th Anniversary of the occupation - to draw awareness to the people and
culture of Tibet.
