A Prayer for
the Tibetan Dead. A Tibet Connection original.
The
bodies of many of the Tibetans killed in the Chinese crackdown after March 10th, 2008 have not been returned to their families.
To Tibetan Buddhists proper prayers and ceremonies for the dead are very important. On April 10th, 2008 the Tibetan community
in Dharamsala, India (home of H.H. Dalai Lama) performed prayers for their dead countrymen in Tibet using effigies.

Things
went horribly wrong for the Chinese Government on their managed media tour of Lhasa. A group of monks from Jokhang Temple
got to tell their side of the story. The Tibet Connection is monitoring the status of these monks with sources inside Tibet
to make sure that they aren't harmed.

The Tibet Connection filmed the arrests of a
group of international freedom marchers in Delhi on April 17th 2008, the day of the Olympic Torch Relay. A cordon of 20,000
police made it impossible for the protesters or the Indian public to get anywhere near the Chinese torch. Among those arrested
was LEX PELGER, the American marcher whose exploits we have been following.
